Art forms part of Yolanda Horta's DNA. Daughter of a jewellery and fashion designer, she was born in Madrid and lived there until she was 19. She dedicated 11 years of her life to dance, having studied a Bachelor of the Arts degree at the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid.
Her fighting spirit and sense of curiosity have led her to live and work in various parts of the world. She studied a BTEC in Art & Design at Chelsea College of Art in London. Yolanda also has a degree in Interior Architecture from London Metropolitan University, having studied the final year of her degree course at RMIT, Melbourne, where she also completed a Masters in Infoarchitecture.
Highlights of her professional background include designing residential projects in Melbourne in collaboration with the architect Rowan Opat and in Madrid with HRZ Architects. Yolanda has also worked with the Film production company Alkimia and numerous other Madrid design studios on set designs.
